Abstract

In this paper we will explore the issue of psycho-emotional training of expectant mothers, and prenatal education. During the research, we will try to answer to the following questions: How exactly does an adequate social support influence the well-being of the pregnant woman? Are social relationships the link between motherhood and the quality of life? The main purpose of our paper is the holistic approach of motherhood, but especially from the perspective of social services provided in the shape of the support group. Also, one of our motivations is to identify possible ways to educate expectant mothers and to inform them about pregnancy, childbirth, birth and child care, the marital relationship of young parents, etc
