Abstract

The integration of students with disabilities in mainstream education is an important and necessary process to give them the opportunity to have access to education and to develop in a normal environment. This is an approach that is based on the principle that all students should have access to quality education and equal opportunities, regardless of their differences. To facilitate this process, it is important that schools provide adequate resources and support for students with disabilities, including early assessment and diagnosis, counseling services and specialized educational support, as well as physical and technological facilities adapted to their needs. It is also important that teachers and school staff are trained and prepared to work with students with disabilities and be sensitive to their needs and differences.
